Us
Argentine Tango Dance
Sofya Zemlyanova is an instructor for our local tango community. She has a 10 years dancing experience and 2 years of teaching experience in the Greater Lafayette area, IN.
She has started her Argentine Tango adventure at the Purdue Tango Club in 2005, attended numerous workshops and private lessons with many tango maestros ever since, and continues her tango training with visiting teachers on a regular basis.
Sofya is married to a brilliant scientist Dmitry who works at Purdue University. They have two boys, whose main passions are in soccer and lego blocks.
Sofya is very passionate about argentine tango and is looking forward to see the Greater Lafayette tango community growing and blooming!
